The application and technology of medical devices is extremely diverse and continues to develop dynamically. Medical devices improve the quality of life.

In order to guarantee safety and performance, medical devices are not only subject to special legislation, but also to special quality standards.

Reliable safety and function of the products are essential for patients and users, as the patient who depends on the product often has no freedom of choice.

This situation places particularly high demands not only on the manufacturers, but also on the suppliers and service providers involved.

All our products have been certified as medical devices.

The FOCUS OPEN Award is one of the few non-commercial design awards with an international focus in Germany.

Another special feature of the Focus Open is that there is no pre-selection based on image material prior to the judging process.

If possible, each submitted product is presented to the jury in the original for evaluation.

Special focus was placed on the outstanding display of the devices developed by us, which unanimously convinced the jurors!

The Red Dot Award: Product Design 

is one of the most prestigious design competitions worldwide. Since 1955, it has recognised products that stand out for their exceptionally high design quality.
 
The independent Red Dot Jury assesses all entries based on four key principles of good design: the quality of function, the quality of seduction, the quality of use and the quality of responsibility.
 
In 2025, the jury consists of 43 experts from 21 countries, including designers, professors, journalists and consultants from various disciplines. Entries were submitted from over 60 countries and were carefully reviewed and discussed by the jurors.
